StarCraft I and II

Even though SC 2 is not out yet, just tied it in since it will be out within a year. This is to help any player with strategy, discussion of in game events, and anything else. I personally need help with the game, i just bought it but have played it with my friends. When i first installed it it was working fine and would progress with the single player story, but when i turned off my computer and turned it on again, the levels would not progress, i am on the second level in the wastelands in the terran storyline and when the i press victory to progress, the game crashes and sends me back to my desktop, i dont know if i installed it incorrectly, or if i have a bug, can someone help me?
